What is a Lake Erie luckystone?  Lucky stones are the ear bone or otoliths of the Freshwater Drum Fish or the Sheephead.  The flattened stones shows a "L" or "J" which ledged claims to represent either luck (right side of the fish) or joy (left side).  Religious beliefs are the "L" stands for Lord and the "J" stands for Jesus.
